Hey Stephanie - great site...i'll save it to my favourites!

Currently i'm on Chemo, having been through Raditheraphy last year and Hormone Therapy for the past year. It's all a bit of a bu@@er, but like you recommend i try to stay positive, eat well and exercise.

I've also found a lot of comfort in the company that i keep of people in a similar, or often, i perceive worse situation, and of the good friends who understand that Cancer Isn't Just For Christmas...but rather it's a longhaul that tests the endurance of friends and relationships as well as your own strength of character.

I find your site positive and informative in an entertaining way. Which for me is so important : i need to keep my sense of humour and positive, glass half full optimism if i'm going to get through this succesfully. Like me i hope that there's a positivity in the general population, of the good things - the things that i'd never have positively experienced, and the great people i'd never of met - in having to battle this awful condition.

I've done a couple of newspaper aricles for Maggies, as well as helping with a BBC LifeLine Appeal (search on YouTube for Maggies and BBC LifeLine) and hope that despite recognising the solitude and loneliness that accompanies cancer that i've also come over as being thankful, inspiring and fun.

I wish you every success for this Blog. Cheers.

Hi,
Maybe you could look into the Love Hope Strength Foundation - a rock music cancer charity set up by 2 guys who have fought cancer. The foundation has been going for 3 years and has set up a successfull bone marrow drive in USA and is trying to do the same in the UK. They have rocked Snowdon 4 times, Rocked the Empire State building, Rocked Everest and last October they rocked Kilimanjaro all in aid of cancer.

Their philosopy is that everyone deserves a chance of surviving cancer, it shouldnt matter where you live and they are aiming to provide resources world wide and have done so much already.

It is a worth while charity and I hope you will consider giving it your support
