Snapshots of my week

This week, I made biscuits with my nieces, and Joy helped them with the decorating.

I made felt, and remembered how very wet and uninteresting feltmaking is, but I am quite pleased with the brooches that were the result of an hour of squelching merino tops around.

Joy loved the birthday shoes that she chose.

(To anyone of my generation just let me say: jellies. We are not in a position to say anything about The Shoes Of Today.)

Flora is much enamoured of the log cabin blanket.

I prefer it when she sleeps on it to when she runs up and down it and claws it.

Joy came over all zen when we went out for ice cream after her final GCSE.

The garden loves this weather.

Name that flower, anyone? Alan and I can’t remember what we planted.

I hope your week has had lovely snapshots too.

The blue flower? It’s a hardy geranium, possibly Johnson’s Blue. Almost glows in evening light.

Oh, thank you. I’m SO impressed. And you’re right about the glowing – they are so beautiful.
