I don’t suppose it would help find trial participants if they were enticed with macaroons? Macaroons would be nice! They would settle down my cancer anxiety immensely!

As well as the treatments, how they are administered can make the world of difference. Jill my mother in law was part of the very early trial for the “hickman line”. For those that it suits this has revolusionised drug administration, (particularly pain killers).

Every time I attend a latteral thinking workshop I hope that someone somwhere is using the techniques to consider all aspects of the way people with illness are treated from clinic waiting times to drugs and thier delivery.
