The winners of the last BBBB bonus – a copy each of ‘Their Cancer: Your Journey’ by Anne Orchard - are Mason, Debby and Betty. Please email me your addresses and I will get them in the post.
In the week of the Blue Sky Movement, this seems like a good book for a BBBB Bonus.
It’s hilarious. It was written (I assume) in response to the ‘Is It Just Me, Or Is Everything Shit’ series – a series upon which I frown for lack of Blue Sky Attitude – and is an A-Z guide to those things in life that are genuine pleasures and good things. Just to give you a flavour, it includes entries on: finding something you thought you’d lost, the sound jelly makes; reading in the bath; and waking up thinking it’s Friday then realising it’s actually Saturday.
This copy is signed by the author, the delightful Steve Stack, who I’ve met and who is every bit as lovely as you’d think a man who wrote this book would be. My only criticism of the book is that there doesn’t seem to be an entry about cake. (Maybe he’s planning an entire book on the joys of cake.)
Also, there are bunny rabbits, chicks and an ickle lamb on the cover.
What are you waiting for? Leave a ‘Pick me!’ comment and, if you can, please make a donation of £2 to one of my three chosen charities: Breast Cancer Hope, Cancer Research UK or Maggie’s Centres. (Clicking on the name will take you to my fundraising page for each.)
I’ll choose the winner at random next week.

First, thank you so much for the win of THEIR CANCER: THEIR JOURNEY. I get you an e-mail shortly. Looking forward to reading this and then donating it to our local library. I think there others can find it and be of help to them.
Now your latest book up for grabs. I’ve got to ask, What sound does jello make? This sounds like a great book.
Thanks again,
Mason
Thoughts in Progress
Wow this sounds just my kind of book! If I win, I’ll pass it onto my terminally grumpy brother and see if I might provoke just one small bout of cheerful behaviour! I live in hope!
