Recently I was asked to write a little piece for The Ambler, the community magazine of the place where I grew up.
Here it is. You might enjoy it. There might not be anything new in it for regular readers… but at least you get to gaze on the sight of me in pink and purple butterfly deely boppers again.

When you say that you have cramps, is it leg cramps? I am still on Herceptin and get leg cramps, only seldomly and not very severely at this point. I was having nightly, excruciating cramps until my doctor put me on a prescription potassium supplement. I had been taking an over-the-counter potassium supplement and there was never a lessening of the cramps. The mega dose (called Micro K in the U.S.) has done wonders. I have had the problem three times since March 1st and the symptoms go away in just a couple of minutes. I play lots of tennis and the few cramps that I get are after extended, hard fought matches.
I loved your article in the Ambler.
