In which I sing and dance

… and wear pink and purple deeley boppers. Yes, it’s here: the video of ‘Girls Just Wanna have Fun’, the Race for Life single being released in late April, in which yours truly plays a supporting role.

I’m the one in the pink t-shirt.

Joy says she finds my appearance “strangely acceptable”. I’ll take that.

Enjoy.

Well done! Great video. Looks like everyone had a lot of fun. Were all or most of the women in the video breast cancer survivors?

  2. Stephanie says:

Race for Life is not breast cancer specific (I know, the pink threw me too) but everyone in the studio the day I was there (you can tell who they were by the background) had a connection with cancer and most had survived it. The singers with the curtain in the background are celebs (recorded the previous day in a different studio, it’s not s celeb privilege or anything) many of whom have a cancer connection. And the women in shopping centres were self selected – Cancer Research invited women to come along and record. I would assume that those who decided to do it would be survivors or people whose loved ones had some connection with cancer.
